Biography

John Goddard is Professor Emeritus of Regional Development Studies at Newcastle University, UK.

Paul Vallance is Research Associate in the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies at Newcastle University, UK.

My guess is that they are likely to be surprised (to put it mildly) at what they find.'Geoffrey Alderman, The Times Higher Education, March 2013
