   Congratulations to Kozo Mayumi, Winner of the TERI Georgescu-Roegen Award, Unconventional Thinking!

   Kozo Mayumi, author of various Earthscan from Routledge titles, is the winner of the TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) Georgescu-Roegen Award, Unconventional Thinking. The award will be presented at the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit 2013.

   Business Models for Renewable Energy in the Built Environment provides insight to policy makers and market actors as to the ways that new and innovative business models (and/or policy measures) can stimulate the deployment of renewable energy technologies (RET) and energy efficiency (EE) measures in this field.

   This fourth volume in the established Energy from the Desert series examines and evaluates the potential and feasibility of Very Large Scale Photovoltaic Power Generation (VLS-PV) systems, which have capacities ranging from several megawatts to gigawatts, and to develop practical project proposals toward implementing the VLS-PV systems in the future. It comprehensively analyses all major issues involved in such large scale applications, based on the latest scientific and technological developments by means of close international co-operation with experts from different countries.
