Omar Swartz (2011): Activism and Rhetoric: Theories and Contexts for Political Engagement,
Seth Kahn and JongHwa Lee, eds., Rhetoric Review, 30:3, 324-326

This inspiring book on “activist rhetoric” was a long time in the making.
Originally conceptualized by the editors in 2003, it went though several iterations
before finding a publisher. The editors’ perseverance, however, has paid off and
readers now benefit from a range of voices of citizen/scholars of rhetoric who
share with readers exciting stories about their nontraditional roles.
