Anna Lindley
My research focuses on migration experiences and politics. In particular, have worked on conflict-related displacement and refugee issues, and transnationalism and remittances in the Somali context. I am currently focusing on public and activist responses to immigration in the UK.
Biography
I completed a DPhil in Development Studies at Oxford University and a Masters at Leeds. Prior to joining SOAS as a lecturer in 2009, I worked as a researcher for the Refugee Studies Centre and the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society at Oxford University, and on various assignments with NGOs and government. My research focuses on migration experiences and politics; displacement and refugee issues; transnationalism and remittances; and public and activist responses to immigration.Websites
