FEATURED AUTHOR
Helen Watanabe-O'Kelly
I am both a literary and a cultural historian, with a focus on European court culture, on German literature and on the role and representation of women. I have worked extensively on European court culture, particularly on how it represents power. I am fascinated by the way in which women create informal power structures for themselves at court and how they use language in their texts, whether poetry, novels, drama or letters.
