Biography

Sylvie Fainzang is a French medical anthropologist.
She did post-graduate studies at the EHESS (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales) in Paris. She is a Director of Research in the INSERM (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale), and a member of the Cermes3 (Centre de Recherche Médecine, Science, Santé, Santé mentale, Société: http://www.cermes3.cnrs.fr/fr/).
She is the editor-in-chief of the international francophone on-line Journal Anthropologie & Santé (http://anthropologiesante.revues.org/),
and the scientific coordinator of the international network MAAH (Medical Anthropology At Home: https://www.vjf.cnrs.fr/maah/).
