I have a particular bent for institutions because they enable people to work together. Not just the institutions you'd normally think of. But the ones that actually matter. My bias remains even in the face of well-founded pragmatic worries. I find the institutions that can work at the intersection of the developed and developing world particularly compelling, their foibles particularly important to understand.
