FEATURED AUTHOR

Betty Jane Punnett

Professor
University of the West Indies

For the past thirty plus years I taught international business/management, most recently in Barbados. I retired at 65, largely because retirement is mandatory at UWI. In the last three years I have taught in a variety of countries and continued to do research and attend conferences. My books have focused on international aspects of management - For example: International Dimensions of OB and HR, Experiencing International Business and Management, Management: A Developing Country Perspective.

Biography

I am a native of St. Vincent & the Grenadines, a small Caribbean country. My family has been in the Caribbean since the 1600s. I have always been interested in pursuing research that relates to the Caribbean. Since retirement, I have worked on establishing a social enterprise in St. Vincent - a women-owned company to make high end children's smocked clothes.
