Author Bio

Susan Capel is Professor and Head of School of Sport and Education at Brunel University. She was President of the Physical Education Association of the UK from 2001 til 2003.

Peter Breckon is Course Leader of the BSc Secondary Education and Physical Education, Brunel University. He was previously Head of PE in the secondary sector.

Jean O’Neill is Senior Lecturer in Physical Education, Chelsea School of PE, Sports Science, Dance and Leisure, University of Brighton.
