"The International Symposium on Extenics and Innovation Methods" will be held in Beijing on August 16-18, 2013. During the conference, the 30th Anniversary of Extenics will be celebrated.
Human society is always involved in solving various contradictory problems and striving for sustainable exploration and innovation. Extenics, as the basic theory, method and tool to realize this ideal, is a newly emerging discipline, which uses formalized models to explore the possibility of extension and transformation of things and to solve contradictory problems. Over the past three decades, researchers have proposed extension innovation methods, and finally have applied them to many different fields, including information, design, control, automation, management, etc. which constitutes extension engineering.
Contributions to this volume will cover innovation theories and methods, and their applications, inventions and patents; Extenics Theory, including Extension set theory and extension mathematics, Basic-element theory, Extension logic, Philosophical foundation of Extenics and Applications of extension theory; Extension Innovation Methods, including Extension strategy generation method, Transformation bridge method, Extension analysis method, Conjugate analysis method, Extension transformation method and Applications of extension innovation methods; and Interdisciplinary Research within Extenics and other subjects or specific fields, including information, design, control, automation, management, and economics.
