Biography

Janie Clark, MA, is Founder and President of the American Senior Fitness Association. Currently, she is also a health and fitness instructor at Daytona Beach Community College and is the producer and host of the public television series The Wellness Workout. In addition, Ms. Clark is the Director of ABLE (Arthritis: Better Living Through Exercise), a fitness program designed for older adults with arthritis and other physical limitations. The author of Seniorcise: A Simple Guide to Fitness for the Elderly and Disabled and Full Life Fitness: A Complete Exercise Program for Mature Adults, Ms. Clark frequently serves as a lecturer and continuing education provider for numerous national organizations, including the American Council on Exercise and the American College of Sports Medicine.
