We are pleased to show you our new titles in communication, media, journalism, and cultural studies. We have a diverse range of products, starting with undergraduate and graduate textbooks, and moving through edited collections, handbooks and scholarly monographs. This range reflects Routledge’s commitment to publishing for all levels of the academic community.
New to the catalog this year is the addition of Focal Press titles. Focal’s practical, leading-edge offerings in video, film, animation, editing and other media applications serve to expand the Routledge list to cover all stages from theory through practice.
All Routledge textbooks are available for examination, as either print or e-inspection copies. Check the textbook listings for the Companion Website button; these sites provide additional materials for students and teaching resources for instructors, enhancing the functionality of the textbook and serving as invaluable tools for instruction. For instructors in the United States, we have many textbooks available for e-review on CourseSmart. Launching this year are several textbooks in the Routledge Interactive program. These books enhance students’ learning experience through access to online audio, video, and textual resources.
Our innovative program of leading-edge research books continues to grow. Our Routledge Research program in Communication offers cutting-edge, upper-level scholarly studies and edited collections on topics such as ancient and modern rhetoric, public relations, popular culture, ecology, food studies, and Internet studies. Our Media and Cultural Studies research program includes titles in the fields of new media (e.g. mobile media and video games), film, television, journalism, and culture. With an ever-expanding focus on global media, the program welcomes this year a new series published in conjunction with the European Communication Research and Education Association.
In addition to the titles featured here, our complete online catalog, available at www.routledge.com, provides a comprehensive listing of all titles in communication, media, journalism, and cultural studies, including descriptions, full tables of contents, and additional information. We welcome your feedback on our publishing program, so please feel free to get in touch – whether you want to read, write, review, adopt, or buy, we want to hear from you.
