Welcome to the 2013 Environment and Sustainability Catalog
Welcome to the 2013 Environment and Sustainability Catalog!
We are excited by the diversity of areas we cover and the range of products we have published to date, including student textbooks, research monographs, reference handbooks, professional manuals and titles aimed at NGO and policy-makers. Our Environment and Sustainability list continues to grow rapidly while reflecting the interdisciplinary nature and continued importance of the field.
We have a fantastic year of publishing ahead. As well as a brand new anthology of Mike Hulme’s writing, Exploring Climate Change Through Science and In Society, we are also very excited about our new titles Food Policy and the Environmental Credit Crunch and The Sustainable University. In the Earthscan Science in Society series, Reconstructing Sustainability Science provides an essential understanding of the complex relationship between science, social change and the normative dimensions of sustainability. We are particularly enthused about commissioning new titles for a brand new series we are launching. Key Issues in Environment and Sustainability provides interdisciplinary and international textbooks on the core topics in environment and sustainability, including the first textbook on Low Carbon Development.
It is a constant pleasure to work with such inspiring and committed authors and series editors. Please get in touch if you would like to find out about the full range of titles, including backlist, in any area of Environment and Sustainability, or if you would like to submit a book proposal or discuss an idea.
Best wishes from your editors,
