Welcome to the Environment and Sustainability catalogue 2014

We hope that our portfolio’s varied range of topics and themes continues to reflect the importance of environment and sustainability issues, and we are very pleased to present a new and diverse year of publishing ahead.

We are very excited about our new textbooks Sustainable Energy Solutions for Climate Change, Environmental Communication and the Media, Sustainable Business: Key Issues, as well as the new edition of Sustainable Event Management and the publication of an invaluable volume Essential Concepts of Global Environmental Governance.

Other important new textbooks include Marine Policy, An Introduction to the Green Economy and a third edition of The Measurement of Environmental and Resource Values.

We are launching for lecturers, students and all those interested in Sustainability a major online portal with a wealth of specially curated material from experts in the field, which will go live at the end of 2014. The Sustainability Portal will also be home to the companion websites of our latest suite of Sustainability and Sustainable Development textbooks, namely An Introduction to Sustainability developed with the feedback of lecturers from around the world; the new edition of the bestseller Understanding Sustainable Development as well as the much-praised Sustainability Principles and Practice.

We are particularly keen to commission new titles for four pioneering series, Routledge Studies in Culture and Sustainable Development, Routledge Environmental Humanities, Routledge Studies in Environmental Communication and Media and Routledge Studies in Food, Society and Environment.

Please get in touch if you would like to find out about our full range of titles in any area of Environment and Sustainability, or if you would like to review books in your areas of teaching or research. We would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to submit a book proposal.

Best wishes,

Khanam Virjee, Tim Hardwick, Annabelle Harris
