Governing the Global Economy

Governing the Global Economy

In May this year, Dag Harald Claes and Carl Henrik Knutsen presented their book, Governing the Global Economy, at an international research seminar at The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. The seminar was held in honor of Professor Helge Hveem, to celebrate his 70th birthday and includes an introduction by the authors. You can now view this seminar online, including a presentation of the book, as well as many other relevant discussions by a range of speakers.

Governing the Global Economy is a fascinating new approach to the study of International Political Economy, and deals with the importance of the relationship between politics and economics, as well as the engagement between states and markets and between international and domestic politics.

With a wide range of prominent scholars contributing chapters, this is an important and useful volume for students and lecturers alike.
