If you are interested in reading more about the study of genocide, Samuel Totten and William S Parsons' edited volume, Centuries of Genocide, is now in its fourth edition with new chapters that look at Rwanda genocide and Herero genocide, among others. It offers an excellent introduction to the study of genocide, using several case studies from the nineteenth, twentieth and twenty-first centuries, written by recognized experts and provoking an understanding of the resposibility of genocide.
