Study skills

Your college or university is likely to have a study skills website and/or to offer classes in study skills. Make good use of them. You will also find that there are many free websites with information about and tips on study skills: here are two examples.

How to Study .Com

Study Skills Self-Help Information from, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

Computer Skills

If you are a student in Europe, you might like to consider developing your computer skills and having them assessed on a more formal basis. You can acquire a ‘European Computer Driving Licence’ which will be useful when you go job hunting at the end of your course. Ask at your university or college if the training and assessment is available there. For more information see the link below.
