In the additional activities that we provide for each of the A Units in our book, you will see a number of icons. Here is the meaning of each icon:

Activity: you are asked to do a task or a short research project.

Calculate: you are asked to make some basic calculations.

Reading: we provide additional reading, most of which you will be able to access on the internet.

Tools: in order to do some of the activities you will need to use tools that are freely available on the internet.

Video: you are asked to watch a video and answer focus questions.

Follow a web link or undertake a web search.
