Author Biography

Ng Bee Chin is currently teaching linguistics in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Her main research interests are conceptual and semantic development in Chinese children and bilingualism. She has also published in the area of new English’s, interpretation and translation, language and gender and language attitudes.

Gillian Wigglesworth is currently Associate Professor and Head of the School of Languages and Linguistics at the University of Melbourne. Her research interests include first language acquisition, second language learning and teaching, and bilingualism, as well as language testing and assessment.
