A reminder of object pronouns – direct and indirect. Here
are some remarks, sometimes with responses, question and answer
etc. The speakers use pronouns. These are left blank for you
to complete the sentence. Possible pronouns are:
Direct object: la, lo, li, le Indirect object: gli, le, gli
And also ne (replacing di + noun) and ci (replacing a + noun)
Vocabulary note:
barattolo = cylindrical container of the sort coffee is
often stored in.
These pronouns are dealt with in Unit 8, pp. 132 and 133;
Unit 9 pp. 140, 141 and 142; Unit 12, pp. 182, 183, 184 and 185;
and unit 14, p. 204, 205 and 206. Unit 14, pp. 208 and 209 deals
with combining pronouns.
