Match the remark The first part of this exercise uses words such as giornata (as opposed to giorno) which you were introduced to in this unit (see Language points, pp. 203 and 204). Here is a short list of statements and a list of possible remarks or follow-up statements which might be used after them. Match each remark from the first list with the most suitable follow-up from the second list.
1. Abbiamo visitato il Museo del Cinema stamattina. 2. Domani, domenica, andiamo in montagna a fare lo sci.
3. Mamma, stasera
vado al cinema con gli amici.
4. È piovuto a luglio e poi in agosto e settembre c’è stato il sole.
And here is one more set to match in the same way. These remarks relate to the main topic of Unit 14, illness and injury. 5. Ho mal di gola e ho la febbre.
