Fill the gap

In the following sentences, we hear about what is needed in certain cases. The expression for this, which you met in this unit, is ci vuole or ci vogliono. Decide which should go in the space in each sentence.

 

1. Per fare il tiramisu mascarpone, panna, caffè, amaretto e biscotti.


2. Per visitare bene una città una buona guida.


3. Per andare in Italia un documento: un passaporto o una carta d'identità.


4. Per le lettere via aerea etichette “via aerea”.

 

To say how things are done venire + past participle is commonly used. To say how things should be done, andare + past participle is used. In the following sentences we give you the verb in the infinitive. Replace it with the correct form of the present tense.



5. Il risotto alla Milanese (venire servito) come primo.


6. Gli spaghetti (andare servito) al dente.



7. Il caffè (venire servito) subito dopo il pasto.


8. Questo vino (andare servito) con il dolce.
