Pupils should independently research what Edward might do during a typical day. Notes should be made in their exercise books.
Planned intervention 1: focus pupils to the relevant pages in the text books.
Planned intervention 2: ask pupils to think of two things that Edward would do in the morning , then two things that he would do in the afternoon, then for the evening.
Planned intervention 3: more able pupils should aim to increase the number of boxes from 6 to 8 (or beyond). Weaker pupils may only have 4 boxes. |
