Teachers, probably more than any other profession, stand on the shoulders of giants. Teachers we have studied under, colleagues who have shared classroom strategies, and myriad books and articles have made us the teachers we are. My views of teaching history online, and the ideas found in Teaching History Online, are gained from reflection on my own online teaching experiences, extensive reading of the theoretical and research literature on online learning, and discussions with online practitioners, both instructors and students. Now I want to hear what you have to say about teaching history online and ask you to share your thoughts with your fellow educators. Please send your comments on the book and submit your own ideas and experiences of teaching history online. Post links to online teaching resources or provide examples of exemplary online activities. Inform other instructors about books and articles that have informed your teaching or that you have recently read. Let us know about any podcasts that you listen to. This space is yours.
