It serves as an international, interdisciplinary forum to promote discourse on environmental quality in architecture and planning. This 17th PLEA international conference addresses sustainable design with respect to architecture, city and environment at the turn of the millennium. The central aim of the conference is to explore the interrelationships and integration of architecture, city and environment.
