    Biography

    Bennet G. Galef Jr. is Professor of Psychology at McMaster University, Canada. He is a prolific contributor to literature on psychology and animal behavior. He has served on the editorial boards of many journals including Animal Behavior and has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Animal Behavior Society and International Society for Developmental Psychobiology.

    Marisa Mainardi is Professor of General Biology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Parma, Italy. She has written many papers and book chapters on the subject of animal behavior and is a member of several scientific societies.

    Paola Valsecchi is a researcher at the Department of General Biology and Physiology Faculty of Science, University of Parma. She has worked with Professor Galef as a visiting scientist at McMaster University for the past four years.
