About the Authors

Bijoy Chand Chatterjee received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Tezpur University in 2014. He is currently working at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, as a DST Inspire Faculty and a Visiting Faculty. He has authored over 45 journal/conference papers and the book Routing and Wavelength Assignment for WDM-based Optical Networks: Quality-of-Service and Fault Resilience. His research interests include QoS-aware protocols, cross-layer design, fog networking, optical networks, and elastic optical networks.

Eiji Oki is a Professor at Kyoto University, Japan. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in instrumentation engineering and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, He was with The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan from July 2008 to February 2017. He joined Kyoto University, Japan in March 2017. He has been active in the standardization of the path computation element (PCE) and GMPLS in the IETF. He wrote more than ten IETF RFCs. He has authored or co-authored five books.
