Dr. John Brady was until 2010 the managing editor and publisher of 'the environmentalist' magazine. He has published widely on engineering and environmental issues and brings his extensive knowledge to the work of Consilience Media and this handbook. Alison Ebbage was Commissioning Editor of 'the environmentalist' until the end of 2010. She now works on a freelance basis for Consilience Media.
