About the Editors

Dr. Shamsuddin Shahid is working as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His main research interests include Climate Variability and Changes, Climate Change Impacts on Hydrological Processes and Water Resources, Water Resources Management, Natural Hazards vulnerability and risk. He has more than 17 years of research and teaching experience in hydrology and water resources in different countries like Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa and Germany. He obtained his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur (India) in 2001. He did his postdoctoral research in Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena-Germany under Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship Program. He has worked as a researcher and lecturer in many reputed institutes like Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)-Thailand, Rhodes University-South Africa, University of Malaya-Malaysia, Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur (India), Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO) and Rajshahi University- Bangladesh. He is the lead author of over 80 research articles published in internationally reputed journals. He has also co-authored four books and eight book chapters.

Dr. Morteza Mohsenipour is working as a postdoctoral fellowship in the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He obtained his PhD from UTM in 2015. His main research interests include groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling, hydrological processes and water resources, water treatment, and climate change impacts on groundwater. He has conducted various research projects and published more than twenty research articles in internationally reputed journals. Besides he has also authored many book chapters and conference papers.

Nosratollah Assadi is a senior expert engineer in water engineering with 18 years of consulting experience which includes development and improvement of irrigation and drainage network, and integrated water resource management project. His research interests include surface and ground water modeling, and integrated water resources management.
