    Biography

    M. Sandra Wood, MLS, MBA, is Librarian, Reference and Database Services at The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at The Pennsylvania State University of Hershey, Pennsylvania. She holds the academic rank of librarian and has over twenty-nine years of experience as a medical reference librarian, including the areas of general reference services, management of reference services, database and Internet searching, and user instruction. Ms. Wood has been widely published in the field of medical reference and is Editor of the journal Medical Reference Services Quarterly (Haworth) and Editor of Health Care on the Internet (Haworth). She is a member of the Medical Library Association and the Special Libraries Association, and has served on MLA’s Board of Directors as Treasurer. Ms. Wood is also a Fellow of the Medical Library Association.
