    Biography

    Vladimir Modrak is a Professor of Manufacturing Technology and Vice Rector for International Relations of Technical University of Košice. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the same University in 1989. His research works were published at a number of international conferences and in international journals.. He was leading editor of three international books on Operations Management Research and Cellular Manufacturing Systems, Handbook of Research on Design and Management of Lean Production Systems, and Research in Engineering and Management of Advanced Manufacturing Systems. Moreover, he contributed to more than 20 books, e.g., Workflow Handbook 2005, published by Future Strategies (USA); Lexicon of online and distance learning, published by Rowman & Littlefield Education (USA), Spirituality and Civilization Sustainability in the 21st Century; published by Nova Science Publishers (USA); Discontinuity and Complexity in Nonlinear Physical Systems, published by Springer (Switzerland).
