Urban A. G. Kjellén is Adjunct Professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Norway, and VP HSE at Statkraft which is a leading company in hydropower internationally and Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. Urban is responsible for managing HSE in SN Power’s own organization and from the owner’s perspective in investment projects and operating plants in Asia and South America.

Urban has earned a M.S. in Engineering Physics and a Doctor of Science in Industrial Ergonomics. He has taught courses in Offshore Safety, and Fire and Explosion Protection Offshore. He is a member of Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s expert comment, NORSOK Standardisation Committees on Safety and Working Environment in Oil and Gas Activities, a member of NTS’s standardisation committee on Machinery Safety, and a member of the Editorial Board of Safety Science.

Urban has authored various reports, articles, and books in the field of Occupational Health and Safety.

Eirik Albrechtsen is Associate Professor in safety management, at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management, in Norway.Eirik has earned a M.Sc. degree and a PhD degree from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. His fields of interest are in safety management, risk governance, safety, organisation and technology, safety in construction projects, integrated operations in the petroleum industry, and human and organisational aspects of information security.

Eirik teaches safety management, risk governance, road safety management, and accident investigation courses. He has authored and edited various reports, articles, and books in his field of interest, and won the 2010 Emerald Outstanding Paper Award on Information Management & Computer Security.
