About the Author

Dr Abhaya Indrayan, with a PhD from the Ohio State University and distinguished honours such as FRSS, FAMS and FASc, has been the Professor and Head of the Department of Biostatistics at Delhi University College of Medical Sciences and has an experience nearly 30 years of guiding research of graduate medical students. He has also been conducting online courses for medical professionals around the world for the past 14 years. Dr Indrayan has more than 230 publications including his flagship book Medical Biostatistics, now in Fourth Edition, published by Chapman & Hall/CRC Press. He has completed more than 40 projects for WHO, the World Bank and UNAIDS and has been visiting Faculty at the Ohio State University and a Visiting Research Scientist at the University of Massachusetts.
