"Dr. Houston has done it again! He has written another book that tackles the entire spectrum of causes, signs, evolution, and prevention of coronary disease, the basis for the most common reason to get sick and die, heart attacks. He has that intangible quality of providing scientific rigor to the conundrum of eating to one's heart's health and of bringing complex scientific concepts down to intuitive comprehension for the lay person. This is a wonderful book that should save you from days' worth of searching the web for solutions, explanations, and discussions into what causes heart attacks and what to do to stay clear of them. As always, he uses an eminently readable prose to accompany the reader from chapter to chapter on a journey of comprehensively updated and insightfully accurate understanding of coronary health and strategies for life prolongation. A recommended reading for those who aim to be enlightened to adopt preventive measures at home and empowered to discuss options at the doctor's office"

"Dr. Mark Houston is a prolific author and has written many books on heart disease. This newest publication especially resonates with me as the doctor has taken coronary artery disease to a new level with his profound genetic analysis regarding cardiac pathology. Bringing specific genetic insights to the table in the analysis of early coronary artery disease and utilizing unique treatments that address our individual genetic profile will be the beginning of the "NEW CARDIOLOGY" of the future. Dr. Houston is really years ahead of his time and provides some of the "secret sauce" in the management of the world’s number one killer, acute heart attack and coronary artery disease.
