    Biography

    Swapnila Roy is Research Director in OPJS University, Churu, Rajasthan. Prior to that she worked as an Associate Professor (Chemistry) in the department of Natural & Applied Sciences, Glocal University, Saharanpur, UP. Before that she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Chemistry (School of Applied Sciences), K K University, Nalanda, Bihar. She has been awarded PhD from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2018. Prior to KKU, she worked in Regent Institute of Science and Technology, Kolkata, India as a lecturer. She worked as a Scientific Assistant in World Bank Funded Project (7 years) in West Bengal Pollution Control Board. She worked as an Editor in a reputed publishing house (Kolkata). She also worked as Analytical Chemist in different Pharmaceutical and Chemical companies. She received his Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Her primary areas of research mainly focused on defluoridation in waste water, adsorption method for remediation, design expert tool. Research area spans over different pollutants separation and process intensification. She is skilled in handling of sophisticated instruments such as ICP-OES, AAS, FT-IR, HPLC, GCMS, Bomb Calorimeter, Soxlet Apparatus and different instruments using for analysis of hazardous waste. She has authored 34 reputed journals, book chapters and published in International conferences.She has 2 Patents till date and some patents are ready to be filed soon. She received a Young Research Excellence Award,International Scientist Award and Researcher Award for outstanding performances. She has edited a few books with other publications. She is reviewer of some reputed journals such as American Journal of Chemical Research,International Journal of Environmental Chemistry, CleanTechnologies and Environmental Policy, Groundwater for Sustainable Development, Global Research and Development Journal. She has been invited as a speaker of some FDP and STTP program in different engineering colleges.

    Tien Anh Tran, is an Assistant Professor at Department of Marine Engineering, Vietnam Maritime University, Haiphong City, Vietnam. He graduated B.Eng. and M.Sc in Marine Engineering from Vietnam Maritime University, Haiphong City, Vietnam. He received the Ph.D. degree at Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan City, People’s Republic of China in 2018. He has invited as a speaker, an organization committee member of the international conferences in Australia, United Kingdom, Singapore, China, etc. He is an author/reviewer for the international journals indexed in SCI/SCIE, EI. He is a Leading Guest Editor, Editor Board Member for various journals. In 2021, he has edited successfully a book with other publication house. His current research interest include Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Fuzzy Logic Theory, Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), Maritime Safety, Risk Management, Simulation and Optimization, System Control Engineering, Renewable Energy and Fuels, etc.

    Zaira Zaman Chowdhury is working as an Assistant Professor and Industrial Training Co-ordinator in Nanotechnology & Catalysis Research Centre (NANOCAT), a potential National HICOE and UM COE. At present she is guiding 12 PhD scholar and 11 MPhil Scholar under her supervision. Dr. Zaira has received several esteemed award such as Excellent Scientific Award in 2020 for "Carbon Chemistry and Water Treatment, IMRF Brezileius Award in Nanotechnology and Catalysis 2019, India; Best Researcher Award in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering 2019, India; ISPA Gunasekaran Award 2018, India; Best Scientist Award in Natechnology 2018, India; Atlas award in 2015 awarded by another publishing house, Gold Award and Silver Award from Malaysian Inventions and Design Society (MINDS) and University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP, 2013). She has received CIMA Appreciation Award from Malaysian Inventions and Design Society (MINDS) and University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP, 2013). Recently she has received Bronze Award from International Engineering Innovation and Invention Exhibition (IENVEX), University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP 2014). In 2016, she has received best paper award on Fourth Generation Nano-antioxidant Synthesis from New Zealand. She has worked for synthesis of micro and Nano structured carbon and biomass processing using catalyst. She has contributed more than 101 papers in ISI & Scopus Journals, 2 International Patent with 85 international Conference Proceedings; having H index 23, Google scholar H index of 25. Earlier she was appointed as Senior Research Fellow under the same institution. She has completed her Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship from 1/10/2013-31/03/2015 in Nanotechnology & Catalysis Research Centre (NANOCAT), University Malaya. Previously she was appointed as Research Officer in Nanotechnology & Catalysis Research Centre (NANOCAT), University Malaya from 1/04/2013 to 30/09/2013. She has started her career in University Malaya from November 2008 as Research Assistant in Department of Chemistry. She received her PhD in Environmental Analytical Chemistry and Engineering from University of Malaya in 2013, whilst MSc. in Polymer Engineering and Technology from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2003, and BSc. in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Technology from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2001 and Bachelor in Education (BEd.) in 2007 from Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has received Cambridge International Diploma for Teacher & Trainers (CIDTT) from Cambridge University, UK with "Distinction" in 2006-2007. She has experience in development of fibre polymer composites, waste water treatment and adsorbent preparation for batch and fixed bed adsorption system.

    Prathibha B.S. obtained her M.Sc from Central College Bangalore and Ph.D. from Kalasalingam University, Tamil Nadu, India. She is currently working as professor and Head In the Department of Chemistry, BNM Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. She has 22 years of Teaching and 10 years of Research experience. She has published 23 Research articles in peer reviewed Journals and 4 International and 1 national Technical patents to her credit. She has filed 3 Patents. She has Authored the Book titled "Quaternary ammonium compounds as corrosion inhibitor". Her area of research includes Material Science, Corrosion, Nanotechnology and Fuel cells. She is the recipient of Indira Priyadarshini award in 2013, "Education Leadership Award-2022" by Glantor X Market Research and Ranking, Best researcher of the year award 2020 by INSc, Best chemistry Professor of the year-2020, At International Education award conference 2020, by Kites Education.
