Sara Lembrechts
Sara is fulltime staffmember at the Children's Rights Knowledge Centre in Ghent (Belgium) since 2012. She has a specialisation MA in Childhood Studies & Children's Rights from the Free University of Berlin (2013), an LLM in International & European Law (2011) and a BA in European Studies (2009), both from the University of Maastricht. She worked as an intern with Amnesty International in New Zealand, with UNICEF in Geneva and with the Belgian National Commission on Children’s Rights (NCRK).
Biography
Sara finalised her specialisation MA in Childhood Studies & Children's Rights from the Free University of Berlin in August 2013. She also has an LLM in International & European Law and a BA in European Studies, both from the University of Maastricht (Netherlands). As part of her studies, she worked as an intern with Amnesty International in New Zealand, with UNICEF in Geneva and with the Belgian National Commission on Children’s Rights (NCRK). In addition, she has regularly assisted KeKi with projects and events, including the organisation of the International Course in 2010 and 2012, as well as the devepment of the children's rights database. Since October 2012, Sara is a fulltime staff member of KeKi.Books
