I applied the techniques utilized as an FBI Agent to the Corporate Security Departmnent that I supervised. While so employed I developed a succesful Intellignce Based Security Program. Biography

I am a retired FBI Agent. I have served as a Special Agent in Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA, as a Supervisory Special Agent in FBIHQ, Washington, DC, as the Supervisory Senior Resident Agent in charge of the Madison FBI Resident Agency and as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) in the Washington Field Office (WFO) supervising 176 FBI employees.

I have specialized in gang, drug and organized crime investigations, the criminal enterprise theory of investigation and the utilization of gathered Intelligence to address threats to the United States.  I have served overseas in Africa, Iraq, Jordan, China and Europe.

I have also served in the US Army, Regular and Reserves, both as an enlisted man and officer.

Upon retirement from the FBI, I was employed as the Corprate Security lead for a private company where I initiated an Intelligence Based Security Program.  

In 2014, I formed Security Intelligence Consulting L.L.C. to provide training and service to private industry and assit them in building their own custom Intelligence programs.

Areas of Research / Professional Expertise

    As an FBI Special Agent and FBI Supervisor I have initiated and led several Task Forces, in which I provided guidance/oversight to not only FBI employees but officers from other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.

    I have served overseas in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I have served in crisis situations such as the U.S. Embassy bombing in Nairobi in 1998 and numerous crisis situations, i.e. kidnappings, bombings, bank robberies, extortions, along with complex investigative issues such as white collar crime fraud investigations and criminal enterprise investigations. I have served on three FBI SWAT Teams as an operator and as the SWAT Team Supervisor.

    I have investigative and management experience in a variety of white collar crime areas, including bank fraud, wire fraud, mortgage fraud, credit card fraud and fraud against the government.

Personal Interests

    I enjoy hiking, fishing and outdoor sports.  I also enjoy running, weightlifting and staying in shape.  

    I have been married 32 years and have two adult children.
