Glen A. Jones is the Ontario Research Chair in Postsecondary Education Policy and Measurement and Professor of Higher Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. He is the author of more than one hundred papers on various aspects of higher education, and his research interests include higher education governance, systems, politics and academic work. He has been a keynote speaker or conference presenter at events in more than forty countries.

Biography

Glen A. Jones is the Ontario Research Chair in Postsecondary Education Policy and Measurement and Professor of Higher Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. He is the author of more than one hundred publications on Canadian higher education. His research and teaching focuses on higher education systems, governance, politics, and academic work. He is a past president of the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education and a former editor of the Canadian Journal of Higher Education. He received the Research Award from the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education in 2001, and the Distinguished Member Award in 2011. He is currently the Interim Dean of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto.
