Wulf Livingston

I am a registered social worker, living and working in Wales. I have practice and research interests in alcohol and other drug use, policy, service user involvement and recovery. I currently teach on qualifying and post-qualifying programmes for social work.

Biography

I am  currently a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Glyndwr University. I joined Glyndwr in September 2010. Prior to this, I taught on a part-time basis on the diploma, and then degree, in social work at Bangor University. I have also spent the last twenty five years working in a range of community social work settings, both voluntary and statutory, working predominantly in the field of alcohol and drugs. Prior to joining Glyndŵr University, I was as Area Manager with Wales Probation. Additionally I am director of several charities and active within the growing North Wales and UK recovery movement. I am an active member of the BASW substance misuse specialist interest group and the New Directions in Study of Alcohol Group.
