Don Richard Lipsitt

As a psychiatrist/psychoanalyst, my entire career has been devoted to bringing pschological, psychiatric, and psychoanalytic concepts to the practice of medicine. My first postgraduate position was Director of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Medical Psychology at Harvard's Beth Israel Hospital. I founded a pioneering Integration Clinic, for which I received the Nicholas and Dorothy Cummings Psyche Award in 1999. Similar activities have continued throughout my career.
