A laureate of IVA; Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Started and has since then chaired the annual International Product Development Management Conference. M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg. Member of several editorial boards of professional journals including IJOPM, JPIM, IJIM, IJATM.

Biography

Dr. Christer Karlsson is a professor of innovation and operations management at Copenhagen Business School where he is also academic director of the CBS Competitiveness platform He is concurrently professor at the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) in Brussels, visiting professor at NIMI, Chengdu, Sichuan, China and professor emeritus at Stockholm School of Economics. He is a fellow of IVA, Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
He started and has since then chaired the board of the annual International Product Development Management Conference. He holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg in the area of industrial management. His main research interest is in strategy and management of innovation and technological development and production networks. He is a member of several editorial boards of professional journals including IJOPM, JPIM, IJIM, IJATM.
