Across Dr. Kelly Wissman’s scholarship and teaching, she considers how children’s literature and the arts can facilitate the creation of more socially just educational spaces for all students. A strong believer in the transformative power of teachers coming together to study their own practice, Dr. Wissman has coordinated several teacher inquiry communities and is an award-winning professor of children’s literature and qualitative inquiry.
