Barbara J. Fish is an artist, art therapist, educator, activist and clinical supervisor. She engages the creative process for conceptualizing and communicating about treatment. Her publications explore the use of response art in therapy and art-based research. Her new book, Art-based Supervision: Cultivating Therapeutic Insight Through Imagery draws on decades of clinical work, supported by response art, to describe the fundamental and nuanced challenges of supervision.
