Full Professor of Intercultural Education, Gender  Anthropology,
Intercultural Communication. PhD. in Ethnology, University  of Nice (1988) on
"Family, Village and Regional Networks of Italian Immigrants in  France". Main topics:  social  movements, social
inclusion, comparative education, sociology of migration and gender  issues. Gender (in
the intersectionality with class and ethnicity) has become her main  field of studies in
the last ten years. Principal coordinator   in numerous EU
project   in the field of  migration and gender.

Giovanna Campani is author of different books and has published many  articles in peer
reviewed journals.    The most recent books are: (2014) I populism  nell a crisi europea
