After graduating with a first degree in Mechanical Engineering I spent five years working in several African countries teaching engineering and related subjects, and also gained a Master’s degree in Development Studies.
Subsequently I spent some time teaching in the United Kingdom and then moved into industrial training, first designing computer-based training and then developing my expertise in wider aspects of training consultancy.
Over the last 30 years I have worked with many different organisations, both in the private and public sectors, helping to develop and evaluate effective training solutions. In recent years I have been working towards a part-time Master’s degree in Systems Thinking, and have been integrating systems tools into the work that I do.
