Franziska Roy

Franziska Roy studied at Humboldt-University (Berlin), SOAS (London) and obtained her PhD from Warwick University. She is a historian of South Asia with a focus on the social and political history of British India and post-colonial India and Pakistan. She has pursued projects on Indian POWs during the Great War, youth movements in British India, and is currently working on Indian and Pakistani nation-building activities in the 1950s to 1970s through the lens of grass-roots networks and activism.
