William Hohl has been in the semiconductor industry for 25 years, starting as an applications engineer with TI. While working in Motorola's Semiconductor Product Sector (now Freescale), he worked in the 68040 and ColdFire design groups. After transferring to ARM in late 1990's, he continued to design parts of microprocessors, later moving into the role of University Relations Manager until 2012. He has taught students in over 35 countries and continues to lecture to undergraduates.

    Computer architecture, assembly language programming, embedded systems, and microprocessor design.
