My research focus is prejudice and stereotyping in general, and ageism in particular. I received my Ph.D. in social psychology in 1996 from Michigan State University working under Galen Bodenhausen. I have written several articles and invited chapters on prejudice and ageism, and also edited several books on prejudice and ageism, and wrote a textbook on prejudice.
