David Nicholas Buck
David is a landscape architecture and educator with a special interest in the temporality of landscape, derived from his twin passions of music and landscape. He has a Doctorate in Architecture and Landscape Design from The Bartlett, UCL's School of Architecture, and previously studied at Manchester University and Kobe University, Japan. He worked for Nikken Sekkei and Gustafson Porter prior to forming in own practice in 2001.

Biography
David's PhD is the first Doctorate by Design in Landscape Architecture in the UK, and was nominated for the RIBA President's Award for Research. He is currently Postgraduate Programme Leader for Landscape at UoG in Cheltenham, and previously founded a new MA in Landscape Architecture at the University of East London. He has written widely on a range of design subjects and his design work is known for operating in the inter-disciplinary territory between land art and landscape architecture. He has completed projects in the UK, Hong Kong and Japan.Education
