Mindaugas Šapoka
Originally from Lithuania, I was educated at Vilnius University and the University of Aberdeen, where I wrote my doctorate under the supervision of Professors Robert Frost and Karin Friedrich. Then I was awarded a one-year Junior Research Fellowship at the Institute of Historical Research. I currently work as researcher at the Lithuanian Institute of History. I am particularly interested in the history of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from the mid-seventeenth to the mid-eighteenth centuries.
