I have a passion for Learning and Development fueled by more than 20 years of corporate experience that included management positions in learning technology solution development, software marketing, and market research in the financial and advertising industries. I hold a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology and a minor in Software Systems Engineering from George mason University. I also hold a doctorate in Political Science with a minor in Quantitative Methods from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and the Project Management professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute, Inc.

Since transitioning to academia in 2007, I have published numerous articles in leading Learning and Development journals, contributed volumes and case books, and speak regularly at conferences and symposia.

Personal Interests
In my spare time, I am an avid SCUBA diver and underwater photographer. Both my home and my campus office are decorated with my photography. I've also won prizes for my photos at exhibitions sponsored by the Photographic Society of America.
